> Yes I think there is a wealth of insight to be gained for sure - and actually - would suggest ripe for some time / topic LLM analysis -> email / insights! :D > > reminds me of the good ol’ IRC days and the rise of http://bash.org (http://archive.orghttp://web.archive.org/web/20161023171257/http://www.bash.org/ >http://www.bash.org/) folks would paste quotes and vote on them - and get fed new/highest ranking quotes 🙂 soo many wonderful things in there.. > > a new channel would be good - and together with this tooling could be really awesome! - #C09PVH6E4TE is perfect 🙂 I’d be happy to help moderate it also. > > kudos on the excellent book btw @genek - love how you’re re-finding joy in coding again - something that resonates with many of us more matured developers 🙂 @james.moverley Start queuing up the questions/tools you want to be mined out of Slack archive! @bscott had so many of them, and we’re tackling them one by one. It’s super ugly, but one was “what were the happiest messages” from ETLS 2025? https://slack-retriever-671898181625.us-central1.run.app/happiness-report (Sheesh, that was just a proof of concept. Let me fix that to make it prettier…. Give me 5m. 🙂
ahh good 'ol neurodivergent me : brain firing on x1000s of possibilities at all times 😄 I'd be delighted to contribute with the thoughts (that's the easy bit!)
funny story - I used run SMS systems way back in the early 2000s we setup stream analysis of the text to determine what mood the nation was in, via some simple heuristics. 😄
@james.moverley I just learned that @bscott had created this: https://golangflow.io/
@james.moverley Ah, much better. Being pushed through CD and will make into production in about 3 min. 🙂 CSS error.
💡 next up have resources linked 🙂 - could probably do some light unfurling to verify if link still works / and what the content is / or maybe even some simple url regex (youtube, github etc..) 💡 Also - media - pull out images uploaded 🙂 -> turn in to a gallery, linking back to orignal message. 💡 correlate the main talk track rooms - so you can gather conversation linked to session + video in itrev library? • bonus score for replaying the messages that happened during the session whilst watching back the video :D
💡 if we get to the stage where comments can be isolated during talk tracks - use llm to summarise pull out interesting points 🙂 or even rank them based on top engaged posts (but during the time frame of the talk). 💡for future conferences... have an icon used to indicate quote to be kept, and tack specific messages -> a few people are awesome at picking out and paraphrasing aha moments - this could also be extended so to high light key call outs from the ITrev team / program team 🙂
