Love the feedback, how you're feeling! --> Very relatable, --> So applicable -- we can build and create things for ourselves --> unbelievable!!!

Prompt: Please write a JavaScript app in an artifacts window that animates a bouncing red sphere. Leave a trail behind it. Add gravity and energy when it hits the floor.

Christine Hudson19:11:10

Team, some of you got this working in ChatGPT, some in http://Claude.ai, some in Gemini. BUT some of you didn't! Some things to notice: • These tools actually don't write the same thing each time! You can ask the same model multiple times (new Chats) and it will often come up with a different solution). • Some of you didn't succeed with one of these tools, even though others did. BUT you asked the tool to fix it's own code! Perfect!!!

Can someone remind me how to log into amp?

Sneha19:11:41

Can I use my phone for this exercise?

Gene Kim, ITREV, Program Chair19:11:58

Maybe difficult to use phone.

Sneha19:11:16

Also, I don't have a number

Fatima Aw19:11:20

You can also type "amp" into the CLI

Heather Martin19:11:55

where does the amp code come from ?

Fatima Aw19:11:32

Once you redeem your credits there will be a link which serves as the code you can copy and paste into your CLI

Gene Kim, ITREV, Program Chair19:11:02

There's a whole bunch of data in the /data directory.
Build me a visualization of the Titanic dataset and use port 3030. (That number is 3000 + your user number)

Emily Tucci19:11:25

if you grab your API key from profile -> settings and then run the following commands export AMP_API_KEY=<your_api_key> amp login amp that should fix it!

Ok, amazing humans. You can get ChatGPT to create you a data visualization, too. You just have to tell it to make you a visual, and not ask any more questions, or it will keep asking you credits until you run out of credits for the day.

Christine Hudson20:11:05

1. Download a public dataset to your computer. (Unzip, choose a small one): https://www.kaggle.com/datasets

Christine Hudson20:11:42

2. navigate to http://chatgpt.com (if you don't have an account, you will need to create one)

Christine Hudson20:11:58

3. Tell it to help you visualize the dataset AND press the + button add the dataset file from your system (make sure it's unzipped, just one file, to stay within your free credits). Here's the prompt I used: Prompt: Please help me visualize this dataset, in a dashboard view, with different colors for each chart. Don't ask any additional questions, just give me a visualization of charts.

Christine Hudson20:11:17

It's not as pretty as some of the ones that AMP creates, but here's what I got without any color requests:

Farra21:11:15

Are we gonna have any other session tomorrow so I could attend with my laptop?

Christine Hudson22:11:42

Could you pair up with someone who has a laptop? Some of it will be interesting!

Christine Hudson22:11:22

No other formal sessions, but we might do part of one in the AI Studio tomorrow

Farra22:11:26

Does the book cover the thing we are learning here?

I think pasting the short URL would be more helpful to most, if possible.

Look in /data; tell me what data you find there: Build me a visualization of the [insert your data here] and use port 3230. (That number is 3000 + your user number: say, 230) Come up with exciting ideas; ask me questions to help guide what you build.

Error: Unexpected error inside Amp CLI. Run with AMP_DEBUG=1 or 'amp doctor' and attach the bundle.
