Hi Nick, come and join us now 🙂 https://gitlab.zoom.us/j/97666767484
The lucky winner of our SWAG pack is @sujit_neb 🏆 during our Product AMA! Congratulations and thanks for sending in your question! > Question: Suppose I have a CICD and CT pipeline that uses jenkins for now to get the code, deploy the code on test, continuously test that and then it is released to the next environment. Do you think that I can use GitLab to get this working in a similar way? Currently I use Jenkins, GitHub, Eclipse (Python script for testing) ? • Yes, we’ve had lots of successful migrations from Jenkins - we even wrote a sort of guide for doing it https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ci/jenkins/ • The notion of progressively moving code from one environment to another is very common in GitLab - you can achieve this by starting MRs too staging and then post merge creating MRs to master or running pipeline stages that include deploy to staging.
Hi, how does GitLab handle collaboration with external members? We want our development team to manage this, due to velocity and scale, but we want to ensure access is granted and revoked in a secure fashion.

I have a question that is not strictly a product question. Gitlab has really great transparency around compensation and I love it that the result of your research for location coefficients is visible in code: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/www-gitlab-com/blob/master/data/location_factors.yml I was wondering what would be best way to contact the analysts behind this to ask questions. Namely I am wondering how likely are those numbers to match internal numbers in other companies. Also I noticed that all US numbers are above 63.3 (even very rural) and all Europe numbers (except for Swiss) are under 65.
