@alireza.chegini please check Mambu. While I was working there, we were constantly hiring great SREs in Amsterdam.
And maybe even more important; do you want to work at a company as an employee or do you want to do consulting, meaning you'll have customers, where you'll be working for anywhere between 1 month and 2 years after which you'll switch to a new customer?
Hi everyone! https://www.sonatype.com is hiring for various roles in various locations. Take a look at our open positions https://jobs.lever.co/sonatype/ and definitely join us anyway in #xpo-sonatype-devsecops
Good morning folks ๐ Nationwide building society are looking for several DevOps roles which might be suited to an agile minded DevOps engineer like you? https://www.nationwide-jobs.co.uk/jobs/r002802126-DevOps-engineer/ This is just one example and is in our London office. We have requirements for different experience levels and folks in Swindon or London. It would be great to talk to you and see if youโd be a fabulous addition to our brilliant team! You can apply through our website or Iโd be happy to talk to you ๐
Questions for those hiring out there: 1. Are the roles 100% remote? 2. Is the company 100% remote? Iโm very interested in the relation between these two things, since itโs been pointed out that companies that are not 100% remote/distributed tend to marginalize remote workers... COVID also taught some interesting lessons about business continuity and #remoteWork

Post-Covid is going to be interesting for remote. We've always been remote only. Our CEO/founder put some thoughts in a Twitter thread here: https://twitter.com/sytses/status/1264341436138270720
@nickeggleston Some of our role are, and the company while not fully remote, can operate that way so with Covid, we saw little disruption in our communication (though getting that office snack has proven difficult ๐ )
@simonw loved the thread. Some companies really get it. With governments willing to shutdown whole economies, the #FutureOfWork is #RemoteWork, if for no other reason than business continuity (in general and by default).
I have seen many job ads, particularly from UK gov departments, that are clear that "while the job is remote for now as soon as we re-open the office we expect your bottom on a seat because we don't really know how to performance manage remote work or remote teams" I may have editorialised ever so slightly, but you get the gist...
@steve537 agree completely... Iโve heard this from multiple groups... itโs a failure of leadership and management, demonstrating low trust and a rather cynical view of employees, coupled with the lack of vision on how to measure performance and success.
Some of my friends in banking had to get laptop ordered has the company wasn't meant to be remote and they are expected to go back to office as soon as possible ๐ Very glad that my company allows us to work from home until we are comfortable going back to the office (and that is if we even want to)
@nickeggleston agreed it's got a lot to do with leadership - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/leadership-challenge-remote-working-stephen-thair/
It'll be interesting to see how the employees shift their demands to remote post-lockdown...
What's REALLY interesting is that, in the UK, it's a statutory RIGHT to request flexible working, which includes remote working - https://www.gov.uk/flexible-working So I imagine it would be very hard for employers to say "you can't work from home" given that you'll have 3-6 months of evidence that you clearly CAN do so, probably quite effectively. Will be very interesting to see this bubble up to employment tribunals.
