What bus @bwilliams4? In this 2020 decade horibilis everyone is barely hanging on
@bwilliams4: had several times where I realized afterwords that my “helping” wasn’t helpful. sometimes that realization was something I came to on my own, other times the realization came when someone told me. In each case… ouch.
They were educated, but they weren't helped nor happy about it. Yep....
What was especially painful in one case was the setting was a top 20 account review, with the account managers sharing their situation. The goal was cross-pollination, brainstorming, and assistance; the result was they felt interrogated and criticized. 😭
And we don't mean to do it... Code is just easier than emotions for some of us.
